De Cottage met houtvak is een moderne CV-houtkachel in een nostalgisch jasje. Dankzij zijn tijdloze uitstraling past deze kachel perfect in elk interieur. De innovatieve warmtewisselaar is extra groot, waardoor de kachel het grootste deel van de warmte afgeeft aan het CV-systeem. Dit zorgt voor een comfortabele en gelijkmatige verwarming van uw woning zonder dat de temperatuur in de woonkamer te hoog wordt.
Het ontwerp van het binnenwerk is gericht op een optimale verbranding, zelfs bij een kleiner vuur. De rookgassen worden slim omgeleid, waardoor de vorming van creosoot sterk wordt verminderd. Dit verlengt de levensduur van de kachel, vermindert onderhoud en zorgt voor een rendement van meer dan 80 procent.
De Cottage is standaard voorzien van geavanceerd isolatieglas, dat warmteverlies drastisch beperkt. Dit glas, met een innovatieve coating, verbetert de isolatie tot wel zestien keer meer dan conventionele reflectieglazen. Hierdoor wordt de warmteverdeling in huis nog efficiënter en blijft de temperatuur in de kachel hoog, wat resulteert in een schonere verbranding en een lagere emissie.
De kachel is opgebouwd uit hoogwaardige materialen zoals robuust gietijzer en hittebestendig vermiculite. Deze combinatie zorgt voor een hogere temperatuur in de verbrandingskamer, wat niet alleen bijdraagt aan een mooier vlammenspel, maar ook aan een hoger rendement. Voor extra veiligheid is de kachel uitgerust met een geïntegreerde veiligheidskoelspiraal.
De Cottage met houtvak kan eenvoudig worden aangesloten op andere verwarmingssystemen, zoals zonnecollectoren, en biedt de keuze tussen een boven- of achteraansluiting van de rookgasafvoer. Dankzij de focus op schone en efficiënte verbranding voldoet de kachel aan de strengste milieunormen, zoals de EcoDesign 2022. Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
