Klass GL – een eigentijdse houtkachel met een verfijnde vorm
De Klass GL is een moderne houtkachel met een elegante, elliptische vormgeving en een opvallend zandloperprofiel. De glazen deur met gezeefdrukte afwerking en softclose-sluiting tilt het vlambeeld naar een hoger niveau: rustgevend, stijlvol en altijd in het zicht.
Strak design, sterke prestaties
Achter het verfijnde design schuilt een stevige kern. De gietijzeren branderpot en vuurhaard in vermiculiet zorgen voor duurzame prestaties en een efficiënte verbranding. Houtblokken tot 33 cm kunnen eenvoudig horizontaal worden geplaatst. De rookgasafvoer is flexibel boven- of achteraan aan te sluiten (Ø15 cm), en dankzij de praktische aslade blijft het onderhoud eenvoudig.
De bovenplaat is uitgevoerd in gietijzer, terwijl de afwerking bestaat uit hoogwaardig staal. Onder de verbrandingskamer bevindt zich een discreet opbergvak met push-pull-mechanisme, ideaal voor het opbergen van handschoenen, aanmaakblokjes of ander toebehoren.

Daarnaast is een uitvoering met volledig gietijzeren haard optioneel beschikbaar. Wie extra warmteverspreiding wenst, kan de kachel uitrusten met een set air diffuser of een systeem voor geventileerde uitblaasopeningen.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
