Das Besondere am IMPOSA ist seine hocheffiziente Wärmenutzung. Trotz seiner geringen Größe liefert er eine Nennleistung von 10 kW und beheizt damit auch große Räume komfortabel. Der Kaminofen ist zudem raumluftunabhängig, d. h. er kann seine Verbrennungsluft von außen beziehen. Dadurch eignet er sich für moderne, gut isolierte Häuser.
Mit der optionalen RIKATRONIC3-Technologie profitieren Sie von einer vollautomatischen Regelung der Verbrennungsluftzufuhr. Dieses System optimiert jede Verbrennungsphase, reduziert den Verbrauch und senkt die Emissionen. So heizen Sie nicht nur effizienter, sondern auch umweltfreundlicher. Der Abgasanschluss kann optional oben positioniert werden und bietet so mehr Flexibilität bei der Installation.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
